Just went shopping and got Marcus a new pair of shoes. He is now a size 6 and has to get his shoes from the men's section. He's not a baby anymore. All the things that make you realise that your kids are growing up are very sad. The first backpack that doesn't have kids cartoon / shows on it, a real grown up one. The first pair of shoes from the adult section. The yes there is no Santa talk. The double digit birthday. It's sad and makes you feel old. I am nostalgic at the moment. I haven't even tried the winter school pants on yet and I just know that they won't fit. Will it be let it down or not enough to let down and just get new ones. Don't even start on the shirts.
The weather has changed and the cold has come. I don't like being cold, but at least there is the flannel pj's and snuggling. The wonderful hearty meals - not that my bum needs it. The wind on your face and the scarfs.
Hope your all keeping warm and enjoying your holidays. I miss my kitten, and Ken and Jack. Missing my friends, but enjoying the sleeping, not the eye spy game on the way up here. Josh keep guessing "friken fish" to everything and Sam has no idea of letters and sounds, so you have to guess anything you can and can't see when it's his go. One of his started with w and was a seahorse. One of Josh's was being guessed when Marcus asked is it appropriate? the answer was no not really. I think I developed a twitch from the eye spy game. Can't wait to get in the car for the trip home, hope there is wine in the fridge cause I'm guessing I'll need it, maybe I'll just get some Phenergen (don't know if it will be for me or the kids).
Love you all adn hope your having as much fun as me.

More Stuff
Well the holidays are here! The first week passed in a blur of activity getting the BMX track up to scratch for a major race. It was heaps of work but lots of fun. As per usual you know who will turn up and who won't. The ones that turn up are great and have fun while working their guts out. So it all went well and the track was great for the major meet. A very early start and long day but worth it. Love the club members that always help out and we all have a great sense of humour.
In case you don't know Marsha ( the new kitten) went to Dan's house (her second home) for our holiday, so I know she's well and loved and cared for. Got to my sisters all well. My nephew is just so much fun. Looking forward to heaps of fun away. Don't care if it rains, away from home and bought the cards.
Hope your all having fun.
