Oh no!
Back from shopping. At one point I turned to tell Sam something and found him giving the finger to store dummies. Had to stop laughing and tell him it's not ok to do that. Then in Woolies and a man with an eye patch passes us and Sam points and yells look a blind man. Was wishing the ground would open and swallow me, had to again go through the don't point at and yell comments about people thing. How long until he goes to school?? - 34 weeks. On the plus side, got Marsha a cat tunnel and Jack some more dog treats(weed). Kenny on the outside was trying to smack Marsha through the tunnel.
Just stuff.
What a weekend. Saturday was a BMX day at Macarthur track and the meeting was huge 120+ riders. The kids did well and enjoyed the day. Then some BMX friends came back for dinner. Late night. Sunday was a nice day. Jon and Marcus went to the model park to play with Jon's remote 1/4 scale sprintcar. So needing vegies I took Josh & Sam to Liverpool Markets with me. They got Macas for lunch and I had a golzone - yum. Then I bought one of those game chips with 100 games on it for the kids DS. I know one game three ids with DS. But I wanted to make sure it worked and see what it was like. So needless to say there have been ding dong battles for the game, thank God for the oven timer. Will go back and buy more. The kids were amazed at the markets and were really good. A nice experience not like the normal shopping battle. Jon is the king for the month getting the first pinch and punch for the first of the month in. Dam it.
Loving broadband, except for the monster in law ringing. Jon is teaching at TAFE today and Wednesday. Got the work phones today, hope not to many mental cases ring today. Need to grocery shop and don't feel like it. Trying to get motivated.

I'm back!!
I can't believe its been a month since I last blogged. Been busy and done nothing, a story that happens a lot. Jon has been getting more and more casual work at TAFE so that's good, it makes it easier for him to get up and go to work when you can see the light at the end of the tunnel. It cant' be to long until he gets a permanent job teaching. Next week at TAFE he'll have a class that includes his current boss's nephew.
We went to Bathurst on the weekend for BMX and had a nice day. It was crisp in the morning and lovely during the day in the sun with very little wind. Sam got his first trophy and Marcus came 4th and Josh came 6th. Sam thinks it's his second trophy, but the first was given to him cause he is "so cute".
Marsha is a huge time waster with everyone playing with her and watching her antics. Jack is very protective towards her and won't let Kenny bash her up, Jack the enforcer!
I think the cold weather along with the end of daylight savings makes me want to just snuggle at home and eat comfort food. I hate it being dark at 5pm, its so depressing. On the other hand Sam is so ready for school, only 35 weeks to go - Sorry Rell, but I'm counting down. The other day while I was on a work call Sam came over to me and pulled the bookmark out of my book, placed it beside the book and ran off. He has also answered my mobile when the work phones were diverted to it, something he has never done before. He has also discovered my make up and Blush is not a good decorating tool for bathroom cupboards. I think he is so bored, I'll have to start going to story time at the library (with Helene & Thomas?) and maybe get back into swimming lessons. Need to keep him busy or he'll kill me.
My sister and sister -in-law are pregnant so this Christmas will include 2 new babies. My sister is taking my Mum to the ultrasound on Monday. Mum is freaking out because my brother in law can't make it and they want to know the sex of the baby and Mum doesn't want to know before my brother-in-law. I think she'll be blown away watching the ultrasound, so different form when she was having us. Mum is so good a the moment, I'm still waiting for the blow up. When we were up at Port we went and checked out their new house and had lunch. So I suggested that we get some pots and let the kids paint them as a mother's day present for her, it went down really well with her and the kids had fun.
We're still having fun and games with the "fricken fish" thing. Sam thinks it's fun to point at the fish in coles and yell "Look Josh fricken fish". God help me.
Had a super great lunch today with the girls - Yum Cha my second time and I love it!! Dan doesn't help - she knows every chocolate and wonderful cake shop in a 500km radius. The options were just way to much to make an informed decision. I think I'll have to go back again and again until I'm positive I know which ones are the best. Shh don't tell the kids or Jon.
