My newest baby

Well the new baby is a girl, yes the kitten is a girl according to the vet and (hopefully) he should know. She is constipated and had a little conjunctivitis. She is doing well and will be a good size girl. We got some sample kitten food for her and left $75 later. Back in 3 weeks for her 6 weeks vaccinations. She is my baby and just lovely and now the name game begins. Jon wants to name her Marsha, so he can say Marsha Marsha Marsha! God help us all.

Stuff

Josh has first reconciliation at the church today, I hope the priest has a few spare hours and is in good health. Then that is over until later in the year when the next lot of church stuff happens. Maybe Marcus needs to go as well after being involved in a fight at school yesterday.
We had a BMX fundraiser BBQ at Bunnings yesterday. I was so good I didn't go into the store to buy any plants. It's always fun to chat to the other parents and hear the stories that you know happened but not exactly what happened. Glad there is only a couple of weeks of school left and then holidays yeah! Need the sleep and the easy mornings.

Just thoughts - God help us all!!

OK so the kids sport feels like it's rolling down hill real fast. Sometimes the issues aren't black or white but different shades of gray. Where do you draw the line? The club is running a campaign that is not ever going to be popular with everyone, but the rules were set out at the beginning and were black and white. So why are there so many issues? Then we have a major meeting just at the end of the Easter holidays that require heaps of track prep. We had organised to go away, do we go on time, delay or just cancel? Everyone pulls you in a different direction and my dreams are very colourful at the moment.
The kitten is just wonderful, even if it's like a baby again, at least it's not for so long or involves car seats. Josh got pulled up at school by the kids that know the mother cat's family. They asked Josh if he has a new cat yet, if he knows Danielle and goodness only knows what else. Josh is such an old man and answered just beautifully without lying outright, just not giving all the info he had. I love that he is so on the ball and just has the extremely out-there sense of humour his father & I so share and love. I know that I won't give the kitten back to kids, if the parents want it so bad then they will also deal with the fact that they are shit human beginnings that have no empathy for living beings, and we won't be rolling over.
Again I have told Hubby to put a rocket up his mother's arse to get the Xmas draw underway so the stupid manipulative witch doesn't do it last minute and leave everyone in the shit. The monster in law is such a witch that she will leave someone out of the loop just to make them look stupid.

My lastest facebook entry "Wants the mother in law to pull her finger out and organise the xmas draw for this year. I don't give a rats who didn't buy for who last year - it's not MY PROBLEM. She wanted this buying system not me, deal with it and get on with it. The in law strategy is leave to the last minute and then complain, harden the @$#* up and deal with life lilke the rest of us!"

Anyone want to swap?? I'll give her away with just about anything, but you have to keep it. No returns!! Does anyone have prices on one way tickets to Hell, she's going there anyway I'll just make sure it a little earlier.

Woo Hoo it's over!

Well I'm done with the crowning at the dentist for another 10 years. Thank goodness, I've stopped crying and stressing.
Had a busy weekend with BMX. The kids a regional meeting at Castle Hill on Sunday. Big day - Sam crashed a couple of times but overall he did really well. Marcus & Josh both made the finals, so it's looking good for state titles in October at Maitland. Lots of bad crashes with 3 ambulances called out to the track, which makes for a long meeting. Was glad to get home and have a beer.
I jinxed myself last week by stating the school hasn't rung me yet. The phone call was hysterical, Marcus has had an issue with his private parts. What the? So up I go and get him, poor bugger accidentally got kicked in the groin at lunch time. You know it's bad when they ask for the ice pack. So off to the doctor we go. I have the three kids with me and in we all go. What's happened the doctor asked. I started to reply he go kicked in (and stopped to find the PC way to explain) when Sam yells "kicked in the nuts". God bless my children. Just watch for blood and see how he goes, the doc said. So imagine this morning it suddenly started hurting again. I said to Marcus isn't it funny its suddenly started to hurt when you put your uniform on. It's sports day today so I thought probably best just to keep him home. He has made a miraculous recovery. Imagine!
Well we got the kitten last night, a little earlier than first planned, but it was the best option for kitty in the end with the feral scum that abandoned her turning up wanting her back - some nerve. Kitty survived the night, is eating well and weeing. Our other cat isn't impressed, but she'll come round. The dog isn't quite sure what to make of it all. Jack has given the kitten a couple of licks, so if anything the dog will love it to death. Hubby is doing the pretend to be miffed thing (not very well), but I caught him checking on kitty this morning. Now the what to name it game has started. I want to call it Marty (cause it looks like my nan's cat of the same name), but Marcus and Josh want to call it white because it is mainly white. So at the moment it's Marty white! I guess the big decision will come when we know what it is, will it be a GBC? to go with Dan's Gender Bending Dog? Stay tuned for the results.

Don't marry a twin.

Hubby's 40th birthday is coming up and he's a twin. Hubby doesn't want a big bash, his twin doesn't want a big bash but the rest of the family do. Personally I don't care so long as he is happy, I do think he should do a family thing for the aunts & uncles some of which aren't well. But the rest is up to him and what he wants. The monster in law is pushing for something at her house - what ever. One of his brothers that lives at glenfield told hubby last night he should have it at his house because its in the middle for everyone, I think he needs map reading lessons, I know he needs lesson in how to stop being a complete knob. I wish they would all just go far away and stay there. Hubby and his twin would rather put the money on the credit cards or the house or something they want and not spend $5000 on a party. It just gets sillier every week.
Tomorrow is my final trip to the dentist and I'm shitting myself. Dad got his varicose veins done last week so he can't mind S3, the monster in law is going on holidays so she can't help (not a surprise). There are mums that could take him, but this is their one free day to go out, so I feel very slack to lob S3 on them. So S3 is going to occasional care for 3 hours. So at least I'll have two things to share the stress. If I make to tomorrow afternoon without someone finding me in a little ball on the ground crying I'll be happy. I think that's why the birthday stuff has given me such a dose of the shits. At least Hubby has a full day teaching tomorrow at TAFE. He finally came clean with his work that he has a second job at TAFE, so he feels better. Now all we need is for it to be permanent, just be patient. To top it all off, I bought the cordless phone from work home today, good one.

Help me I'm finished!

Well last night I finished the 4th book in the Twilight series, and watched the movie. So now what do I do? By the way girls, check out twilight on eBay they have some lovely Pandora charms from the series, along with t-shirts, mouse pads all sorts of stuff. I feel like I'm lost with no book to read.
Anyway just had a fun morning, Hubby's car went to the little shops and then wouldn't start again! So Hubby walked home and I joked with him did he need me to start his car for him again like yesterday. He had a funeral today so I went over to the shops with him and the car wouldn't start for either of us. So off he went in the big car and I rang NRMA. Didn't wait long thank goodness cause S3 was starting to get ants in his pants. I think the poor serviceman had a good dose of contraception with S3 asking what's he doing now, how come he has so many tools, etc etc etc, you all know the fun of kids. So then he decided it was the "crank angle sensor" (what the?). So it will most likely start again when the engine cools down. In the mean time lets flat tow it home so if it doesn't start then it won't be so hard to get the tow truck to it. He started small just out to the road, all went well so I went the whole hog and got towed home. Very nerve racking, didn't want to run into the back of him. Had a nice cup of tea would have preferred something stronger but now the nerves are calm. Hope hubby can fix it.
Hey I made the choclate mug cake last night, yummy. Hubby and the the kids enjoyed it.
See ya at school maybe this arvo.

Reading and family

Well what a weekend.
We had a baptism on Saturday that we were just on time for. We went to St. Declans at Penshurst at 10.45am for the 11am baptism. When we got there no one was there so we thought maybe they meant Peakhurst lady of Fatima so we went there, no one there either. In the mean time I was ringing my sister in law and the monster in law but know one was answering the phone. At the second church I rang the monster in laws house just in case we had the wrong day. A family friend answered the phone and told us no the baptism was at Beverley Hills. So we decided to go past Penshurst and then onto Bevo. Well nearly everyone was at the church the second time we got there. Thank goodness we didn't go straight to Beverley Hills. Olivia (our niece being baptised) was the only one getting done, which was a nice surprise. Then back to the monster in laws for lunch with the usual not enough salad WHAT IS WITH THAT!!!!!!! I don't get the not having enough food thing. There was salad left over only because no one wanted to take enough and then leave it short for someone else. Then the older two boys went to the speedway with hubby's aunty to watch a cousin race. So Hubby & S3 went to dinner with hubby's twin brother at his house. The next morning hubby went to get the older two from monster in law's church, leaving me to read and muck around. There were things to do but I wanted to read, Dam Dan and her addictive books. Then the rest of the day was chores and reading. Monday saw Hubby getting a call at work to cover a sick teacher doing the evening shift at TAFE which is great. So at least they are still calling him, and keeping on the burner for the future. My boss called to offer me another 3-4hours work one day a week, so I told her yes but can only do Wednesday when S3 is at preschool, so fingers crossed. Tuesday night I got to go to the Catholic Club to attend the intra club dinner for BMX with some other committee members. I was a good night.
Well I'm 2/3 of the way through the last book in the twilight series, and have the video to watch, can't wait.

Leave it alone

Hi to my friends.

First if you don't like my blog, DON'T READ IT! GET YOUR OWN f*****N LIFE, NOT MINE!!!! Life is hard enough, I don't need other people's shit. It's not all about you, It's all about ME!!

Well today I went to the dentist, not so bad really. Just the fear on my part. The dentist was running late and that increased the stress factor immensely. Waiting is almost as bad as sitting in the chair. Running late is torture for me. Not only was I waiting but having to make sure if it was any later someone would get my kids from school. Lucky for me my Dad was with S3 and so could pick up the kids if needed. I had to ring Rell to let my kids know to go to Grandpa if I wasn't there. (Would have rung Dan too but I was hoping she was sleeping at home). Was stressing bad!!
All in all the chair time wasn't so bad in the end, little dramas, but nothing to blog about. So now it's two weeks until a new crown is finished. (I've only had a half coronation according to Ben, one I like to subscribe too). So you nay all call me Queen bitch from now on. I love the finish of a visit to the dentist even if I have to go back, the first visit is always the worst. The rest is just finishing. I'm so proud of myself, I did it without Valium and/or my foot holder. I did it, I did it, I did it, can't tell you how proud of myself I am. Tomorrow we go to my fav brother-in-law's child's baptism. I love these people just not the monster in law and some of the brother in laws. Anyway my new tooth feels weird, and I am so so so glad the first visit is over.

The weekend is appraoching

Well I had an interesting weekend. The 40th birthday party out past Bathurst was the biggest waste of money and time, what a surprise!! There's over $100 we'll never get back, along with the rude behaviour. At least my favourite in-laws were there, the only saving grace. Dons is not my fav nic name, one my wonderful brother-in-law has sometimes for me, what an beep beep beep. The family thing on the outlaw side is something that I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy, ok so maybe some people. At least we were in the car for a while so I could finish the 3rd book in the twilight series. The baby shower was better, my best friend from primary school was down from QLD and we had a good catch up. All in all not a weekend I would want to repeat any time soon. This weekend will start in a dentist appointment that I'm dreading. I hate the dentist for no good reason! The fear is just there, even knowing that the dentist won't go into psycho mode. The appointment is on Friday and I still need to organise the day for all, would give anything to have my wonderful support system (Hubby) with me, but those are the breaks. Just a short recommendation for anyone that knows me, don't approach me at the moment or you'll be very very very sorry. The stress factor right now is so very high. Have a great one, I will after Friday!!
