The weekend

Hey dudes and dude-ettes,

Had a good weekend, Alex's birthday was a funny party, we had a blast and most importantly Jon liked the Kofta. Sunday saw us at BMX presentation that saw both Marcus & Josh get 6th place in their age groups and get $25 prize money each and Sam a nice trophy. After BMX we went to the model park for Jon to renew his membership, go Jon. All in all a good weekend, with Josh turning 9 on Saturday. My brother came over on Sunday and we weren't home, so he set up a treasure hunt using clues for the present. That was great except for the first clue written in lipstick on the back glass door. Still cleaning it off. Still planning the party for poor Josh with Jon's feral family. Tried not to invite the worst of them, but he will still be in the country, so do we go with the initial urge and not invite the tool, my choice or invite the dickhead and run the risk of giving him a going away present he'll never forget. Would love to punch him in the head, but I'm too much a lady (lmfao) not!!!!!!

Can't wait to see Bruno, should be a hoot.

Feeling low.

I need to perk up. Jon's family are so suppressive. They live to make you feel bad, and they are masters of the game. I know that I feel bad and that's what they want, so they're winning. I need to just ignore them and allow Jon to deal with them in a way that works for him, even though I want to yell at them to piss off. They are so sad and pathetic that they need to make everyone around them feel bad to make themselves feel good. It's Josh's birthday on Saturday and I don't want to do anything for him so I don't have to deal with Jon's family.

OK so pick yourself up - I'm better than that! Will take Josh to the shop tonight to look for a bike for his birthday. Can't wait to get a laugh at Alex's birthday on Sat, should be a hoot, if Alex and his family are feeling better, sending you health. I'm going to go make lunch and sit in the sun for a while. Cause I don't get to see the sun much lately.

Hi, there everybody.

What a week. Had a good weekend, BMX on Sat and off to the model Park on Sun for Jon to race his r/c car. Left early before it got dark and to cold. Sam was starting to come down with his bug. Did the vicks thing on his chest, back and feet. It so reminded me of when I was little and we had it done to us. Sam has been sick all week. Was well enough yesterday to start bugging everyone, but the cough is still really bad and so I kept him home from pre-school. Jon has had his references checked for the TAFE job at Ultimo, so that's promising. They rang his boss and the boss told them he was to busy to complete a reference, hasn't said anything to Jon, but has been nicer than usual. Jon's current part time tafe boss rang him today to tell him Ultimo just had a full time guy quit, so there maybe two positions going - double the chance. I hope he gets the job, he needs the change and the challenge. Can't wait to go to the markets this weekend, didn't get there last weekend, and need the fruit & veg. Thinking I might need one of those old lady trolleys you pull along, cause I'm not paying $3 to use a trolley. Love the hub of the markets. Not like they used to be, but what is? Got to go.

OK over the rant. You can pick your friends but you can't pick your family. At least when Paul has the shits with us he rings everyone else to tell them how bad we are, Bob had him on the phone for 1 & 1/2 hours ranting about us. We may even get uninvited from his kids party - Oh no. But on the up side it made me find out how to block some friends on facebook from seeing my posts.

Jon's brother is pissed with us cause "we don't respect him or his wife", Your so fucking right about that you losers. You are SHIT!! You are egocentric, megalomaniac, self absorbed, self-important, ARSEHOLES. I don't respect you at all!!!! I have written and deleted so many responses to that it's not funny. We're not you and we don't want to be. Your not us and you don't want to be. That's fine, live and let live. But that's not good enough for you, if we don't do what you do then we are wrong, well PISS OFF AND DON'T COME BACK!! Life is hard enough without some dickhead telling you you're wrong cause you don't do what they do. AND they do a shit job at life!!!

So Hahahahahahahah to you, I'm happy with my family, friends & life - you are a miserable want to be!

My long weekend.

What a weekend, 4 days of kids and 3 days of hubby. Just mucked around with the kids on Friday. Saturday saw Jon of to the model park to play with his remote control sprintcar for the whole day 9am-9pm. So I took the kids back to the markets to get 2 more DS games with 50 games on them. Yeah no more fights. Got some fruit and veg and came home to peace. Isn't it amazing that mums can get the ds character to the next level? Markets are quieter on Sat than Sun. Sunday saw Jon of to church with the kids for 8am mass. Cup of tea in peace. Then washed floors and mucked around. After lunch went to a birthday party for Jon's twin brothers wife. Not to painful. Monday was a busy day for Jon, he had to go out and pick up a bedhead from Moorebank and a bed from Wilouby before 10am. Then off to the bmx track to help with a working bee, lucky he was too late and the last stragglers were leaving. So he came home and put the new bedhead on Marcus' bed and then lunch and some cleaning the stickers of the new bedhead. Then an m7 ride, not to bad except I'd been awake since 3am Monday morning, so I didn't go to far. Got a sore bum today, no co-ordination so it's not best to ride next to me. Had a great time though. Then while the boys rode a bit further and had a ice cream from macas. I went home and put the leg of lamb on. Then cleaned Josh's new bed and Jon put that together. Had a yummy baked dinner. Jon loves lamb sandwiches for lunch after baked dinner. Put Josh's bed on ebay and have 4 watchers and no bids so far. Ends Friday. It makes me sad to know my babies are growing up, a new bed not a babies bed. Josh sleeps all over the bed, so just waiting for him to fall out. Sam wants a new bed to, but not yet. Now today Marcus got up fine, had breakfast and a shower then the I'm sick and can't go to school started. So Marcus is home and the day is not going to happen the way it was planned. That's how it goes! Lots of cleaning to do and then bmx tonight. Got the slow cooker on beef & red wine tonight - yum. Usually Tuesday is spaghetti night but can't get to the shop for the mince. Maybe tomorrow night. I even copied a game from Marcus' DS to Sam's. Might have a go at down loading them from the net soon. So all in all a good weekend. One where you don't do much but it was busy and you kind of did do a fair bit. Now I'm out of whack with the week, what day is it today?

Just bitching

Just spoke to the Monster in law. She always takes notes of when the kids are doing stuff says she'll come and never shows up. Then she rings up during the week to tell you all about her weekend and never even asks how the kids went. It just shits me so bad. She only wants to know what's going on in your life to tell everyone. It wouldn't matter what you did she would tell everyone else something horrible and untrue about you anyway, like people don't tell us what she says. Thank God I'm only related by marriage. Well my rant for the night. I swear when it dies I'll dance on her grave singing ding dong the witch is dead!
