One down one to go!

Woo hoo, my sister is having the baby on 21st! So the kids & I will head up last Friday of holidays most likely. I can't wait.
The first week of the holidays are over, I blinked and they were gone! Having Jon home for holidays is weird. I get nothing done cause now I have 4 home! Got a new printer, can now print colour - yeah. Can scan and everything! Jon, Marcus & Josh have gone to the mountain for the day, so Samuel & I are home may need to make banana cake today - yum. Hope you're all well and rested, and looking forward to getting together next week.

busy busy busy

Oh my goodness, only 2 weeks until the holidays - YEAH!!!! I can't wait. Josh is at the really over tired cranky stage and Marcus has just delightful attitude. I can't get homework done or anyone changed after school, it's time to stop. The next two weekends are going to be busy, this weekend is a quick trip to Maitland for BMX in the afternoon, coaching in the morning and then on Sunday we have Josh's first communion with "the family", some of which are not invited cause they "have issues" that we can't be bothered dealing with. Then my sister rang to ask if they could stay this Saturday night as they need to come to Sydney to pick up a car my brother-in-law bought on ebay for parts. All this and Marsha is getting de-sexed on Wednesday. Then the next weekend we have BMX State titles at Maitland. Then it's holidays and I can't wait. My mum wants me to go up to Port Macquarie to visit, but my sister is due at the end of October and is hoping to have a cesarean in late late October and I would rather take the kids out of school and go up for a week when the baby is due. So I'll get there soon just not sure when. I think I'll need the holidays to get over the next two weekends. Can't wait to catch up with the girls and kids over the holidays, already there is talk of the bike track and I'm sure a park visit is in order.
Then there is Jon & his twin Bob's 40th birthday October 7th. Which is shaping up to be a huge pain, and I can't wait for it to be over.
Jon loves his new job even if he is feeling a little overwhelmed at the moment. At least he is enjoying going to work and I don't have to drag his butt out of bed in the morning. Can't wait for the biscuit making course and I'm sure Jon and the boys will enjoy the benefits of that! Then Novampire bring on New Moon.

Josh

Well we were driving home from shopping on Monday and Josh Says "Mum, what do you brush your top teeth with?" and I answer "a tooth brush", so far so good. Then he says " what to you brush your bottom with?" to which I answer "toilet paper". "Dam it how did you know?" he asks. We all couldn't stop laughing, I really worry about Josh and I have to make sure I listen to his questions and try to find any bizarre alternative answers to them before I answer. By the way Jon cleans his bottom with a toothbrush!

checking inn

So it's the end of the holidays, and it's the first one in a long time that I'm sad to see end. Sleeping in and no stress is nice. I'm not looking forward to the school shirt ironing, lunches and yelling in the mornings. I've had a lovely time, mainly thanks to my wonderful friends taking my kids and/or having fun time together with us all in a park of some kind. Thanks Dan for the lunch the other day or I would have had the grain wave chips. Our world is just spinning really weirdly. Jon has been kind of told un-officially that he has a full time TAFE job, but nothing is real until it's in writing. I'm having a girly day op soon and it's a pain in the ass, not literally! My baby kitten is on my lap and so loving - Rell you & your car stay away it's so nice. Tomorrow is the last Sunday of the month and so Jon's model car day at Luddenham. Will be nice if the weather holds. While I was out today, we sold the 2nd Race car bed on ebay and so hopefully they'll pick it up tomorrow and bring your money with ya!

See ya!

Hols

Really enjoying the holidays so far - only exception is getting up to make Jon's lunch every morning, would love a sleep in, but them's the breaks.
Thank you to my beautiful, wonderful friend Helene, thank you for taking my two older boys today to see Ice Age 3 with Harrison. I love you and thank you.
Well the first week is nearly over, and it has flown by.
I have some girly issues, and am shitting bricks. It will all be fine, it's just waiting and not knowing where you're at in your world. Send me strength and slap me if I need it.
My wonderful monster in law went to grandparents day at pre-school this week and then popped over to take the other two out to lunch. She then told me how busy she is these holidays having lunch everyday with different people, God forbid she want to spend time with the grand kids, cause holidays are such a surprise every term! Hey it spent time with them these holidays, better than most holidays.
Jon is off tonight looking at a machine shop, with a new job in mind if he doesn't get the Ultimo job - still waiting to hear.

My weekend, by Donna.

Ok so the weekend was a mix of ok and good. Saturday had BMX which was cold and windy, but always a fun time. Then the birthday dinner for Josh. Dad couldn't make it cause he didn't get the message, his wife is away and I don't know what happened, but it didn't happen for him. At least the biggest tool in Jon's family couldn't make - heart broken. Jon's mum and nanna and twin brother & his family came. Jon's mum is a loony, when she told us she was going to QLD to visit Jon's brothers we asked if she could take a Christmas present up for us. She was adamant it is to early to get Christmas presents to people so they have it in time for christmas. Too early what the f**k, since when is it too soon to make sure a christmas present gets where it needs to go, you don't have to open it now, just put it away for christmas. Cause God forbid anyone should be organised. Then Bob's wife suggested maybe I'm to hard on Jon's mum.
Sunday saw us get up hungover and going to Maitland to check out the BMX track up there, cause that's where the state titles are in October. The track is fine, the views are spectacular. Then we were looking around for accommodation and ended up having lunch at Hog's Breath. That was really nice with the kids being mostly human, with the exception of Josh choking and Jon having to put his fingers down Josh's throat and remove food. Josh chokes quiet often, I suppose it's his way of keeping up with the family need for medical attention, seeing as he hasn't been to hospital like his brothers and father. Anyway the trip home was painful, Marcus and Josh were being painful and egging each other on, really need to think about those dividing screens.
So looking forward to the holidays, no yelling in the morning, no ironing school shirts, no finding school lunch ideas. On the down side 24/7 children wanting food, being board and fighting. Well I'll enjoy the first week and then I'll endure the second, just like most other mums. Would really love to get together and organise a play date with my mummy friends and the kids. The holidays seem to go so fast, heck the year is flying by. Got to go Packed to the Rafters is just about to finish and I'm so hooked.

Love ya all

The weekend

Hey dudes and dude-ettes,

Had a good weekend, Alex's birthday was a funny party, we had a blast and most importantly Jon liked the Kofta. Sunday saw us at BMX presentation that saw both Marcus & Josh get 6th place in their age groups and get $25 prize money each and Sam a nice trophy. After BMX we went to the model park for Jon to renew his membership, go Jon. All in all a good weekend, with Josh turning 9 on Saturday. My brother came over on Sunday and we weren't home, so he set up a treasure hunt using clues for the present. That was great except for the first clue written in lipstick on the back glass door. Still cleaning it off. Still planning the party for poor Josh with Jon's feral family. Tried not to invite the worst of them, but he will still be in the country, so do we go with the initial urge and not invite the tool, my choice or invite the dickhead and run the risk of giving him a going away present he'll never forget. Would love to punch him in the head, but I'm too much a lady (lmfao) not!!!!!!

Can't wait to see Bruno, should be a hoot.
Love ya all
